Here is my Algerian eye, I still think it looks more like a circle than an eye. I don't care for it too much, but it will be OK after I get more stuff on the block

Welcome to the CQ4N group. I love your use of the Algerian Eye. If you are refering to the center of the stitch, it is not in the shape of an eye. It's just the idea of a whole in the center that creates the eye. I have used this many times in Hadanger and needlepoint. If you try it on an evenweave fabric you will see the eye better. June
It's very nicely done. I wonder what it would look like if one elongated it to look like an eye? That's one I didn't try. =)
