PAINTED DOOR

I painted this on the door, wish I still had the door. Posted by Picasa
This is the Cape Hatteras lighthouse, I got to climb this lighthouse in Sept. of this year. It was the second one that I climbed. A few years ago I climbed Tybee Island Lighthouse in GA. It is a great joy for me.

HAND QUILTING

The never ending hand quilting  Posted by Picasa
I am always working on too many projects and have soo many in mind that I never get to them all!!
I started with the knitted bead bag, got half done and started a easy knit and purl cape. Then needed a little more so I decided that I would try to learn how to knit with dpn's.
I found a pattern in the mag. "Knit It" it is a Christmas stocking, starting with the toe.
I thought I would never figure out how to get that started, after a few choice words and starting over a thousand times I finally got it!!
I am so excited, but now I am worried that I will not be able to figure out how to do the heel and instep.
Well I guess I will worry obout that when I get there. Still have 2 inches to go before I have to figure it out.
I am working on the cape at work, it is a knit and purl pattern with a few increases and decreases and that is about it.
Need to get back to the beaded bag but just had to take a break from the counting of seed beads.

A project that I finished with things I had around the house. I was waiting for my thread and hanks of beads to arrive so I could start my beaded bag. That I have not finished yet.......

LOOM BEADING IN PROGRESS

Loom work bead bag...(not finished as of yet) Posted by Picasa
This is a project that I finished one side and did not like the way it looked after I took it from the loom. So I guess I will have to make it into something, just don't know what it will be.

A small project that I was also working on waiting for my supplies to arrive for my larger bead bag. I will post pictures when I get the chance of the larger bag.
It is only 1/2 done and I got tired of counting beads. So I am taking a break from it

SMALL BEADED BAG

This was a test for the larger bead bag. I used part of the pattern to test to see if my loom I had made would work, and it worked like a charm.
The amulet bag turned out fairly good too!
