TAST-ALGERIAN EYE
Here is my Algerian eye, I still think it looks more like a circle than an eye. I don't care for it too much, but it will be OK after I get more stuff on the block
Hi Debbie, Welcome to the CQ4N group. I love your use of the Algerian Eye. If you are refering to the center of the stitch, it is not in the shape of an eye. It's just the idea of a whole in the center that creates the eye. I have used this many times in Hadanger and needlepoint. If you try it on an evenweave fabric you will see the eye better. June
I have been into art for as long as I can remember. I love to try new things all the time. Most of what I do is with fiber, I knit, crochet, tatt, quilt, paint, bead, sculpt, and have done some bobbin lace. "A jack of all trades, but a master of none"

It's very nicely done. I wonder what it would look like if one elongated it to look like an eye? That's one I didn't try. =)
